The first full weekend of December is crammed with holiday celebrations. Friday evening starts with tree lighting on the courthouse lawn with singing and music. Saturday morning come to the parade and all the lively activities afterwards including actors in costumes, a pop-up bakery, food stands, strolling musicians, and oyster sandwiches at a church and specialties at the Washington Inn. In the afternoon there will be Olde Princess Anne open houses decorated for the season, a church concert, and more. The grand finale is a candlelight reception at Teackle Mansion--decorated in its holiday finest.
